|Recommended: YesA very good, affordable place to live — Liberty Square is an excellent option that provides proximity to BYU campus with good quality living areas and friendly service. The people are nice, and it has few flaws except those that are common to other apartment complexes like tiny parking spaces, an expensive laundry unit and noise from other apartment buildings.
response from property -Riley- thank you for your kind and honest review! We are working on the 'tiny parking spaces' hoping to get approval to widen them this summer. I know that you will be off winging your way around Europe and it will not benefit you - but know that we are trying to improve always! Sorry that our laundry is 'expensive'. We went through a period where so many machines were not working and the entire room was not pleasant to be in...so we made some upgrades to improve life here a liberty square. Hopefully you have had the cleanest of clean laundry at least! Again...thanks for taking the time to write your review! Love ya nephew! ( You are - by the way - as far as we are concerned - named after our family!)

|Recommended: YesGreat Value — You get what you pay for, and a bit more! This year Liberty Square has gone under tremendous improvement with adding new appliances to the kitchens and replacing all the washers and dryers. It s great not having to carry around huge bags of quarters just to clean your clothes. One improvement I don t understand is Liberty Square s recent project to repaint all the buildings into a gross gray color. I guess I don t understand why I m helping to pay for the complex to change its image.
Liberty Square has everything you need. On site laundry, a gym to get those stress pounds off, a pool and hot tub, fire pit, gym, outdoor court, and parking.
The underground parking is great for when the weather turns bad, but beware! Spots are very narrow both above and below. But with a parking pass you will never have to worry about not having a place to park. Also beware if your window is by one of the parking lots, they get pretty noisy at night.
The wards here are amazing, and very active! Everyone is very friendly and the staff is very helpful. Compared to other newer, more expensive complexes you really get your money s worth here!
Thanks Casey for your kind and honest review! So glad to hear that you like it here in general. The parking spots are close together and we are submitting a plan to make them larger. Sorry - but that won't happen for a while - but we are trying! The paint color is definitely up for opinion! It was chosen by the owners and being done at their own expense. They recently purchased the property and that was one of the first things they decided to change. Again - thanks for your honesty - hope you are having a great day!
|Recommended: NoWay too expensive all it has to offer is a reputation. — You can go to a lot of other complex s and pay less money and get your own room and have a washer and dryer in your apartment. I would not recommend liberty square to anyone. Go to the Village or find someplace else. Yall are charging 25 more cents for the dryers per load and they are the worst dryers ever. They are the same ones from last semester, just more costly. It s a joke how Liberty Square nickel and dimes you. I m also completely positive that my review wont be published for other people to read. So this is a waste of my time.
Wesley - thank you for taking the time to write a review on Liberty Square and for giving your honest opinion. Every review helps - as we are always looking for ways to improve. You are right - there are other places close by that you can pay more for and have a more private experience. It sounds like that is something that will be better for you. We did totally change our the dryers here at Liberty Square. They were "gutted" down to the outer casing only when the new washers arrived in December over the break. They are now in good repair always - and if there is a problem they are repaired within the day. I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with the facility. Hopefully all will be well with you in the future. We do want you to know that your review is helpful and hopefully it will help us as we work with our residents in the future. |Recommended: YesA great place to live, very social, and great facilities — The local facilities are excellent including the indoor gym, exercise facility, laundry room, and office. Parking is great in the indoor parking garage although it is sometimes difficult to find an open spot and the parking spots are quite narrow. My least favorite thing about Liberty Square is the poor insulation between rooms. As a result, it is not uncommon to hear people screaming outside at 2 am in the morning, subwoofers blasting next door, and noises from water flow (showers, toilets, etc.). However, overall it is still a great place to live.
Eric, thanks for taking the time to write such a kind and honest review. It is disappointing when there is so much noise late at night and we will continue to try and encourage quite hours. We are currently trying to get approval to widen our parking spaces this summer. I know that won't be of help to our current residents...but we are always trying to improve! You should always have an open spot for parking...we do not give out any extra parking passes than allotted spots and there is nightly patrol to enforce it. These responses - will probably not solve any of the difficulties you have had here...but know that we appreciate you and your patience with such a large complex - and that we are eager to try and make things right! |Recommended: NoIt s decent, but way too expensive. — Not high enough quality of apartment for what I m paying. Look elsewhere.
Mark - thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry that your experience here was not so positive as far as the quality of the apartments. We are constantly trying to improve things and look forward to remodeling many apartments this summer. We realize that this building complex is older and you are right - it is not the cheapest place to live in Provo. We are actually on the lower end of pricing for a complex that offers all the amenities that we do. Hopefully you will be able to find something that you will be happy with as you continue to pursue your academic goals. |Recommended: YesGood, clean ,happy vibes. — I absolutely have loved living at Liberty Square! The environment is so fun and social. There is always something going on & the people here are the best! It s at a great location & it s been my favorite apartment complex to live at.

|Recommended: YesIt was comfortable, clean and a great space! — I have really enjoyed my experience at Liberty Square! I do think it is kind of expensive for how small of a space I am getting in Madison, but I have had a great experience nevertheless.
